Tatara Fire  ultraviolet polymer on canvas 123 x 312 in. 2014  The Columbia Museum of Art collection.  This mural was commissioned by the members of The Contemporaries, members of the museum bringing new artworks into the museum's collection.  The source material for the mural is on the transformation though fire theme with text on the history of the burning of Columbia South Carolina at the end of the Civil War as well as the history of the ancient Tatara kiln used for creating steel from sand and ash.
